Coding Lab

Coding Lab: a dynamic initiative designed to ignite young minds through coding and creativity! We provide elementary-aged kids with access to user-friendly coding websites and laptops, all within a supportive library environment. Through passive-guided activities and playful challenges, children explore the basics of coding, build their own simple games, and develop problem-solving skills. Our program fosters early tech literacy, encourages curiosity, and makes learning fun—all while ensuring that kids have the resources they need to start their coding journey right here in the library. Join us in shaping the tech innovators of tomorrow! To ensure a productive experience, it's important for youth to gain proficiency in using a computer laptop. Please note that staff availability will be limited in this lab, so caregivers will need to assist young children as required.
